No genealogy is ever complete. However, after several years of research, some information has been posted on each of the Orcutt generations from William (1612-1693) to Orrin (1883-1967.) I encourage your additional input: family stories, photos, DNA findings, and research evidence. I expect to change the information contained in the pages on this site as new findings become available.
In addition, I hope to use the Blog to add to the story–to share discoveries, debate theories, and announce news.
I express my deep gratitude for the handwritten genealogy that Myrtle Orcutt left for her children and for the stories that she shared with me during the short time the paths of our lives connected. This web page and blog are meant primarily for her descendants but also for everyone else interested in genealogy whose tree may intersect with this one.
I hope you’ll enjoy reading the story of one Orcutt family in America.
